Hazey Jane |

Hazey Jane are an Indie-Folk quartet from Hackney, London. Their mesmerising songs combine traditional folk storytelling with arena sized pop hooks, swooning four part vocal harmonies with fingerpicked acoustic motifs and delicate electric guitar lines. Indebted to Nick Drake, CSNY and John Prine, the band breathe fresh air into London’s burgeoning folk scene.

Hazey Jane’s debut EP ‘Us On A Wire’ was released in August 2016 . Produced by Marcel Van Limbeek (Tori Amos) and Sander Van Laere (Micheal Kiwanuka), this five-track release enthused Charlotte Harry of Vulture Hound Magazine to proclaim, “Hazey Jane are a band that are ready, they will be great”. On the back of ‘Us On A Wire’, the band independently booked their inaugural headline tour of the UK, selling out venues across the southeast.

Hazey Jane’s most recent EP ‘Lifeboat’’ gained online tastemaker support from BBC Introducing London, Record of The Day and Sofar Sounds. Title track ‘Lifeboat’ observes the stubborn optimism of Britain’s youth despite increased isolationism gripping the islands as a whole. To quote Ear To The Ground Music, “What matters in Folk music is the story and Hazey Jane deliver that in spades”.

Chalky Seas |

A laid back, indie folk band from Norfolk, UK. The ‘gypsy-esque’ style strumming alongside their ‘rootsy-true’ lyrics sung by Tony, Joe, Fitzy and Ginny’s mesmerising four part harmonies, comes a very easily listenable ‘Chalky Seas’.

Wilford Social |

Mark’s musical background is in the rock and indie scene where he has played in bands at London’s dirtiest live venues. Bethie is from the other side of the musical tracks, where she trained as a classical singer specialising in Renaissance and Early Baroque music. Mark and Bethie found a middle ground in writing and playing acoustic, harmony-driven songs which draw from a shared love of the singer-songwriter tradition. Their songs feature lush vocal harmonies and melodies that take you through classic songs with strong, sing along choruses. Andre and Carlos make up the rhythm section. Their backgrounds in Brazilian and Flamenco music influence the rhythms and grooves of the songs. Wilford Social’s music has been described as “indie-folk” and a modern acoustic version of Fleetwood Mac. A debut album of original songs is on its way.

William Curry |

William Curry is a Folk songwriter, troubadour and busker from Falmouth, Cornwall. With plays on BBC radio and his debut album under his belt, his music combines his love of traditional folk with a more contemporary edge and overtones of americana and rock ‘n’ roll. His often sarcastic and cynical lyrics sit on the line between socially uplifting and politically condemning. Over the years this signature brand of anthemic Folk has struck a chord with everyone from the tavern goers of Cornwall to the Folk aficionados of Kent, from the uptown bars of Stockholm to the dingy streets of Amsterdam.
